The Lord's Supper

How to join us

Little cups of wine and some bread

The Lord's Supper

Every month we have what you could think of as a shared "mini meal". It really is mini! You get a tiny glass of wine to drink and a small bit of bread to eat.

Why do Christians do this?
It's a
"Please don't forget Me" time, when we remember that Jesus died for us all. He told us to eat a bit of bread and drink some wine as a kind of picture of him dying for us on the Cross.

When we eat the bread, Jesus says to us -
"This is like My body - it was broken up for you."

And when we are drinking the wine, Jesus says -
"Remember my blood - I was bleeding for you"

When you eat the bread and drink the wine it is a special holy moment.
