GRAND REOPENING

A Youth club for 11-18’s where we focus on fun, friendships and growing together in many different ways. We are an open youth group run by Christians operating in a christian manner. But by no means should the word Christian imply BORING.

We as a team of leaders and the current young people love being wild and love having fun with one and other by playing games and challenging one and other each week in different ways. In an age of Playstations and Xboxes, social media and iPads I have often found myself teaching young people how to socialise with other young people and play with each other again with out a controller, tv, device mobile in front of them. Its got to the point of where some young people are sitting next to each other talking to each other on Facebook messenger. I mean whats that about? 

Therefore, what we try and do is engage the youth in conversations and encourage the young people not to use any electronic devices for the duration of the youth group. Encouraging them to build real face to face meaningful relationships with the people around them. ​
