2nd Sunday (The Hot Topics)
For a few years now we have been running a group to think about and discuss important contemporary issues from a biblical perspective.
These group discussions have been stimulating and interesting. Some of the topics we have looked at include a series on Islam and Christianity, new ways of getting more out of reading the Bible, marriage and sexuality and how it affects the church, and large scale overviews of the Bible. We often use videos and always encourage interactive discussion for anyone who has something they’d like to say.
Second Sundays occur, as the name suggests, on the second Sunday of the month and run from 6.30pm to about 7.45pm. They are informal – we have a cup of tea, a prayer and then get straight into the topic. It will stretch your mind a bit and encourage your faith in Jesus. Everyone is welcome to come.
